Experience
Nick is a Fellow of the Institute for Turnaround and has over twenty years’ experience in successfully leading business change projects that deliver substantial increases in enterprise value. His early career saw a variety of senior management roles including CEO of a listed group. He has worked with many businesses to bring about change in operating performance, cash generation and debt structures often as Chief Recovery Officer or Executive Chairman.
He has worked with management teams in a wide variety of business sectors including manufacturing, aerospace, financial services, plastics, advertising and construction. He is well known to workout managers and corporate recovery teams in all the major UK corporate banks and accounting firms. Clients include management teams or private equity and other business owners.

Andy PearsonCo-founder
Experience
Andy is a chartered accountant and experienced business adviser. As a senior partner for 16 years, he led KPMG’s Transaction Services business in the Midlands between 1999 and 2005, building a multi-disciplined team of due diligence specialists.
Since co-founding WayPoint in 2006, he has worked on over twenty business turnarounds and debt restructuring projects. He has also acted as a non-turnaround NED in several private equity backed businesses.

Paul HerbertPartner
Experience
Paul Herbert has a track record for reviving financial performance having managed several international restructuring programmes for global blue-chip FTSE, AIM, VC backed and family owned businesses.
He has 20 years’ experience of effecting fast and measurable improvement at the level of General Manager, Managing Director, Chief Executive and Chairman, including leadership of multi-site multi-nationals and SME businesses in a range of situations: start-up; joint venture; transition; merger and acquisition; integration; site rationalisation; plant closure; factory relocation; business disposal and shareholder exit.

Amanda AllenPartner
Experience
Amanda is a senior corporate finance lawyer and business adviser with over 30 years’ experience of working with companies, management teams, banks and investors advising on a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions from mergers and acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations, joint ventures, restructurings, investments and finance raising.
Described as dynamic with a “go getting style”, Amanda advises companies from SMEs to multi-national national trading groups as well as entrepreneurs providing general business advisory support, advice on exit strategies and continuity planning. Working closely with other members of the WayPoint team her focus is on debt and equity restructuring, reorganisations, acquisitions and disposals where she uses her expertise to bring effective solutions in the businesses and for the individuals and management teams she works with.
